Thanks for stopping by my website and taking the time to learn a little more about me. My name is Stan Santos Nuñez, but most people know me by my artist name, Saints — or sometimes Boombox Kid. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, where I still live and work today.

I’m a visual artist who creates character-based art across a variety of mediums — from pencil and pen to digital tools and aerosol. My love for art started in childhood. I was obsessed with Saturday morning cartoons and comic books, and those early inspirations sparked a lifelong passion for drawing.

Growing up in the graffiti scene, I was drawn to the energy and style of spray-painted art. Eventually, I started bringing the cartoon characters I loved to life on walls with a can of paint. I specialize in creating old-school B-Boy characters inspired by the golden era of Hip Hop. I also love illustrating fun, relatable characters that reflect the people and culture of my community.

I’ve created custom artwork for different brands and currently work as a muralist and set painter in the film industry. More recently, I’ve also started teaching art to middle school students, focusing on character design and mural painting. In my free time, I’m developing my own original cartoon character, Boombox Kid, which will appear in illustrations, murals, apparel, comic books, and as a designer toy.

At the heart of it all, my goal is to create art that brings a warm, joyful sense of nostalgia. I hope you enjoy what I create.
